This Privacy Policy outlines how Gofriendshop, Inc., doing business as Landed (“we,” “our,” or “us”), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Landed website, the Landed Portal, and other Landed web, mobile, and/or desktop applications (collectively, the “Platform”). By downloading, installing, or using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

When you use our Platform, browse our public website, or use our mobile app or other Services as a job candidate (“Candidate”), the information we collect and use may differ in important respects from the information we collect if you are a Landed business user (“Business Users”) and purchase and/or license one of our products or Services. Information Collected from Other Sources
We obtain information from other sources. For example, we may collect Candidate’s personal information from job applications to one or more of our Business Users from applicant tracking system providers used by such Business Users. Such personal information may include, but is not limited to, Candidate’s name, phone number, zip code, current and former employers and job titles, education information, date of birth, and any images, videos, or other information provided by the Candidate. We may store such personal information and use such personal information to match Candidate to one or more job opportunities with Landed’s Business Users and to contact Candidate regarding any such job opportunities.

We share personal information with your consent or at your direction.
We (and those who perform work for us) use tracking technologies, such as cookies and web beacons, to collect information about your interactions with the Platform, including information about your browsing behavior. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us improve our Services and your experience, see which areas and features of our Services are popular, and count visits. Web beacons (also known as “pixel tags” or “clear GIFs”) are electronic images that we use on our Services and in our emails to help deliver cookies, count visits, and understand usage and campaign effectiveness. We engage others to provide analytics services and serve advertisements across the web and in mobile apps. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Services and other websites and applications, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in mobile apps, links clicked, and conversion information. This information may be used by Landed and others to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests on our Services and other websites, and better understand your online activity. Your device may also include a feature that allows you to opt out of having certain information collected through mobile apps used for behavioral advertising purposes.
We also work with third parties to serve ads to you as part of customized campaigns on third-party platforms (such as Facebook and Instagram). As part of these ad campaigns, we or the third-party platforms may convert information about you, such as your email address and phone number, into a unique value that can be matched with a user account on these platforms to allow us to learn about your interests and serve you advertising that is customized to your interests. Note that the third-party platforms may offer you choices about whether you see these types of customized ads.
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Yes. Landed does not knowingly collect data from or market to children under the age of 16. However, in certain jurisdictions, the Landed Platform may be used by persons age 16 or older. However, some jurisdictions might have different age restrictions. In all jurisdictions, if you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must use the Platform under the supervision of your parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult, even if your age is above our permitted use age for that jurisdiction. By accessing the Platform from anywhere, you represent and warrant that your age is above the Landed age restrictions in your jurisdiction (e.g. over 16 in the United States). We adopt a range of measures to try to ensure that no information is knowingly solicited from individuals who do not meet the minimum age or any other applicable age requirements.
If we learn that an individual who does not meet the minimum age requirement has used our Services or provided personal information through our Services, we will restrict access to, or close their account, and remove such individual’s personal information from our systems.
Withdrawing Your Consent
If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express and/or implied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by using the contact details provided in the section “HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?” below.
However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal nor, when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
Opting Out Of Marketing And Promotional Communications
You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional communications at any time by replying “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to the SMS messages that we send, or by contacting us using the details provided in the section “HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?” below. You will then be removed from the marketing lists. However, we may still communicate with you, for example, to send you service-related messages that are necessary for the administration and use of your account, to respond to service requests, or for other non-marketing purposes.
Account Information
If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can do so by logging in to your account settings and updating your user account.
Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone Else?

We may use your personal information for our own business purposes, such as for undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration. This is not considered to be “selling” of your personal information.
We have not sold any personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months. We will not sell personal information in the future belonging to website visitors, users, and other consumers. We do disclose and share the personal information of Candidates with third parties, specifically our Business Users, for the sole and exclusive purpose of matching Candidates with Business Users for job opportunities with such Business Users or their affiliates.
California Residents
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.

If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Platform, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Platform. To request removal of such data, please contact us using the contact information provided below and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. We will make sure the data is not publicly displayed on the Platform, but please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from all our systems (e.g., backups, etc.).
CCPA Privacy Notice
This section applies only to California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the rights listed below.
The California Code of Regulations defines a “residents” as:
(1) every individual who is in the State of California for other than a temporary or transitory purpose and

Verification Process
Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to determine you are the same person about whom we have the information in our system. These verification efforts require us to ask you to provide information so that we can match it with information you have previously provided us. For instance, depending on the type of request you submit, we may ask you to provide certain information so that we can match the information you provide with the information we already have on file, or we may contact you through a communication method (e.g., phone or email) that you have previously provided to us. We may also use other verification methods as the circumstances dictate.
We will only use personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request. To the extent possible, we will avoid requesting additional information from you for the purposes of verification. However, if we cannot verify your identity from the information already maintained by us, we may request that you provide additional information for the purposes of verifying your identity and for security or fraud-prevention purposes. We will delete such additionally provided information as soon as we finish verifying you.

Upon receiving your request, we will respond without undue delay, but in all cases, within forty-five (45) days of receipt. The response period may be extended once by forty-five (45) additional days when reasonably necessary. We will inform you of any such extension within the initial 45-day response period, together with the reason for the extension.
Right to Appeal
If we decline to take action regarding your request, we will inform you of our decision and reasoning behind it. If you wish to appeal our decision, please email us at support@gotlanded.com. Within sixty (60) days of receipt of an appeal, we will inform you in writing of any action taken or not taken in response to the appeal, including a written explanation of the reasons for the decisions.
